Susan Beall
Susan just started
competing in triathlons in 2010, but that hasn’t stopped
her from reaching the winner’s podium. Last year her
accomplishments included three first place age group
finishes at the Natchez Trace Duathlon, Annie Oakley
Tri, and Memphis in May Sprint Relay. Despite recent
knee surgery, this success is carrying over into the
2011 race season with a first place age group finish at
the Natchez Trace Duathlon, second place age group at
Los Locos Duathlon, and third place age group at the
Dragonfly Tri.
How has Endurance
Geeks helped Susan early in her triathlon career?
“Before EG I wasn’t really training, I was just working
out. I feel like my workouts have a purpose now. I’m
just not waking up and asking myself…’okay what am I
going to do today’? EG now has me training smart.”
What is the next
goal for this highly determined triathlete? She has her
sights set on the Nashvegas Half Ironman distance race
in September!
