Martha DiNardo Boogies at Shelby Bottoms 15k

Relatively new to the Endurance Geeks roster, Martha set her sights on a 1:15 at the annual Shelby Bottoms Boogie 15k. She didn't hit that goal -- she crushed it with a blistering 1:13 and change. That was good enough to secure a podium place in her age group. Martha is a tough, tough competitor and she's just going to get better and better...so look out!

Sheila Yarbrough PRs at Mountain Lakes Triathlon

Congratulations to Sheila Yarbrough, who set a personal best time at Mountain Lakes Triathlon! She bested her previous record by a full 10 minutes. That's what targeted training is all about! So what's next? How about her first full Half Ironman in May 2009! Way to go, Sheila!

Congratulations to Charlene Alcorn!

Endurance Geeks sends out a big CONGRATULATIONS! to the new GJCC Triathlon's Female Master's Champion, Charlene Alcorn. Here's the fun part: it was her first triathlon! Charlene was already working off a solid fitness base and turned to us to refine her approach to getting and staying fit. While she's not always excited about those Zone 2 workouts, you can't argue with results! We're expecting exciting things to come! Way to go Charlene...YOU ROCK!
